Reprezent Olympics Project

Starting in October and leading up to the Olympic games “Our Games, Our Future” will be a brand new interactive multimedia project to engage ‘hard to reach’ young Londoners in the opportunities and legacy of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park area. Combining street-based youth work, a network of local youth groups and London’s newest FM radio station exclusively for young people – Reprezent 107.3FM – “Our Games, Our Future” provides an innovative solution to help young people shape their local community and lives.

Using our increasingly popular Reprezent 107.3FM youth radio station to attract young people, they will be offered the chance to get their own voices and music to thousands of their peers. Once ‘hooked’, they will learn to make features, speak confidently to peers and adults, be active members of their communities, and access opportunities for personal development. Through exhibiting their radio skills and views on FM, and through video and photography on their project website, they will interact with and involve a wide range of their peers in the new opportunities available in the area.
