Our Work

Heart Programme Website

The Metropolitan Police commissioned us to create an innovative website for their Healthy Relationships Training (HEART) programme, designed to support vulnerable young people and improve their personal relationships.

They wanted the website to provide relevant information, advice and guidance for young people in a clear and appealing way.

We ran five focus groups with young people to get a clear understanding of their views on the topics of the HEART programme, what information and advice they would find helpful and suggestions on the website design and content.

Based on the feedback we created a detailed brief and designed and developed the HEART programme website. Throughout the process we consulted with young people and the HEART programme manager to make sure the website met its aims.

The website was launched in June 2011 and received very positive feedback from HEART, practitioners and young people. The website was praised for its attractive design, clear and simple layout, informative content and engaging features.

We are continuing to work with HEART to build the websites audience and add additional features to ensure the project meets its long-term aims.

Quote

  • "I first approached Eclectic knowing that they were socially motivated, and had a track record of working with young people. They were a pleasure to work with, responsive to the needs of the project, and the final product has been received very positively by both young people and practitioners alike. I would most certainly work with Eclectic again."
