Mix Festival 2009
Description
The Mix is South London’s largest youth festival with thousands of young people gathering in Burgess Park every August. In 2009, we ran the ‘U Reprezent’ marquee alongside the main stage, giving over 300 young people the chance to have their say on everything from teenage pregnancy to aspirations.
‘U Reprezent’ brought together councillors, MPs, celebrities and young people, with discussions feeding into Southwark’s Children and Young People’s plan. The video above was put together by a group of young people trained as part of the project.
